Flexxbotics Partners with Datanomix to Provide Robot/CNC
Real-Time Production Monitoring and Process Control Solutions
Flexxbotics, a provider of manufacturing and productivity automation solutions, has announced a new partnership with Datanomix, maker of the industry’s only Automated Production Intelligence™ platform, to provide CNC machine shops real-time cobot and CNC machine production monitoring, cobot and CNC program management capabilities, and guided operator workflows.
Production Monitoring
CNC machine shops often have a difficult time in getting true insight into how their capital equipment is performing. This makes quoting for new projects and making new capital equipment purchases difficult as they do not truly understand costs and utilization. In partnering with Datanomix, Flexxbotics is able to provide precision manufacturers with real-time performance analytics for their cobots and CNC machines. CNC shops can now gain a granular understanding of how their work cells are really performing and their capacity for new jobs and equipment.
Program Management
Program management for CNC machines and robots can introduce significant inefficiencies such as reliance on tribal knowledge, transportation and over processing waste. The new solution offered by Flexxbotics and Datanomix eliminates these issues by providing truly centralised and revision controlled program management for both Universal Robots and CNC machines. The system enables CNC machine shops to digitally upload their program, change the program within the work cell and then download the program, which are all connected to the CNC machine shop’s database. Now any changes made during one job are automatically uploaded for future jobs.
Guided Workflows
With rising material costs and longer material lead-times, it has been critical for CNC shops to build more reliable product with precise quality control. In addition, with the current global labor shortage and skilled workers leaving or retiring, minimizing the training time on new capital equipment like robots has never been more important. With Flexxbotics guided/gated workflows, eliminate defects with digestible work instructions and timely quality control alerts. The intuitive software can be run by all skilled level operators seamlessly with a security net in place to ensure correct, timely and accountable operation.
